Veloce (Vel-oh-Che) is fronted by guitarist and recording engineer Eric Block. Born via sonic experiments in the studio and built upon layered and often crawling melodies weaving in and out of shimmering drones, Veloce draws inspiration from rural summer nights, sleepless city’s, and daydreams. Veloce aims to wrap its listener in a cloud of layered guitars and sparse drumming that dissolves into harmonic reflections slathered in reverb. The Time Between, was recorded sporadically throughout the winter of 2017-2018 while starring out the window of a home in the woods outside of Chicago.
